On January 9, 2026, Maryland Governor Wes Moore visited LaunchPort as part of a tour highlighting the state’s growing MedTech and life sciences ecosystem and to announce the DECade Act, a new initiative supporting economic growth and innovation. During his tour, he met with companies and organizations throughout the building, including JuneBrain.
The Governor spoke briefly with our team and learned about our work at the intersection of brain and eye health. I was able to share how JuneBrain is advancing innovation in neuroscience and vision and contributing to Maryland’s broader MedTech landscape.
The visit also highlighted the value of collaborative workspaces like LaunchPort, where companies at different stages of growth can connect, share ideas, and accelerate progress. These environments foster partnerships, spark innovation, and support the development of new solutions across the healthcare and technology landscape.
Engaging with community leaders reinforces JuneBrain’s role as an emerging contributor to brain and eye health. Moments like this are a reminder of what’s possible when ideas, collaboration, and shared purpose come together to drive meaningful impact.
I’m proud that JuneBrain is part of this dynamic community, and I remain committed to advancing the future of brain and eye health, building meaningful collaborations, and creating opportunities that truly matter to patients, clinicians, and the broader healthcare industry.
